Virtual Birth Doula Packages below...Currently I offer virtual assistance for any Catholic or Christian mother in USA. Must be able to text or call USA phone number.
Contact me if you are in Wichita, Salina, or Manhattan - I service those areas for in person births and packages will cost more for in person births. The packages below are for virtual only. Thank you. What's a virtual doula? What do I do?
A virtual doula is much like having a birth coach "on your side" from last trimester to pushing that baby out! So, usually I will set up 2 zoom calls with you as your "prenatal appointments" just like you would do with a regular doula. (This is after our free phone consult). Usually, a deposit would be sent before the first prenatal. These prenatals usually cover things like: Birth Plan, Comfort Measures, Rebozo, Pregnancy care or after care, etc. Usually I do is give you a list of things that we can cover and you narrow it down to 2 major topics for instance VBAC! Then we would cover the 2 major topics at the prenatals. If you want more help or need more education - then I suggest you join my St. Gianna Childbirth Class - and then we set that up as a separate item you will be charged for - but I do offer a discount for doing both virtual and CBE classes with me! Birth time - so how does a virtual doula help during a birth? Usually, we do this as texting and phone call - though I am open to adding Face Time to my phone as needed. The laboring mother would call me when she first goes into labor and then we would check back in every hour (or so) to see how labor is progressing. We can text or Face Time if need be for more intense part of labor. I also do not suggest talking or chatting during pushing stage - I usually am just there for whatever time you need me. I suggest things the partner/husband can do. I can talk to the hospital staff on your behalf as needed, etc. Once you have your baby - I would just like a text back telling me that event happened and weight and a picture if possible!! Follow up visit - I can also offer a phone call or zoom session for follow up - if zoom session there's an extra charge because that may mean you need help with breastfeeding, etc. I am also a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and can suggest things to try before moving onto a more pricey lactation consultant! And I also usually offer a small gift for my clients - a postnatal gift unless you choose rebozo gift to help at your birth! I hope this explanation helps you decide to use my services! "Under the Mantle" - Basic PackageThis is my basic package for birth - virtual - meet 2 times virtually before the birth (or one time if emergency and need a doula right away). Go over birth plan, comfort techniques, spirituality plan for labor (if religious).
$500 w/book included* Postpartum visit w/you after is optional but can be done.- Note if you want to add in Level A Rebozo it is $40. $540 with rebozo. *Mama can choose one book: 1. Comfort in Birth Method 2. Little Way of Motherhood or 3. A Catholic Postpartum |
